Who Is the Truth? Clarifying Misunderstandings with Love & Logic – Part 3

Part 3: The Message of the Truth Is One
When I first began to compare Christianity and Islam, one thing struck me over and over again: despite all the differences, the message of every prophet throughout history pointed in the same direction.
Worship One God. Follow the truth. Submit to the Creator.
In Who Is the Truth – Part 3, we will see that it’s a message that echoes across the ages—from Adam to Noah, from Abraham to Moses, from Jesus to Muhammad (peace be upon them all). The message of the truth has never changed. But sadly, the way people responded to it has.
🌐 One Message, One God, Many Messengers
In the Qur’an, Allah reminds us:
“And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], ‘Worship Allah and avoid false gods…’”
— Qur’an 16:36
This verse confirms something profound: no matter where you were born or which language your ancestors spoke, there was a messenger sent to your people with the same message.
It wasn’t about a culture. It wasn’t about a name. Nor was it about race, tribe, or region.
It was always about Truth.
⛓️ When the Truth Was Distorted
But human beings have a long history of altering the truth after it comes. Scriptures were rewritten. Prophets were idolized. Political agendas mixed with spiritual teachings.
“So woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands and then say, ‘This is from Allah’…”
— Qur’an 2:79
This is why the Qur’an doesn’t just correct past distortions—it protects the core message. It acts as a guardian over the truth that was always there, even if it was buried beneath layers of man-made tradition.
“Indeed, it is We who sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will be its guardian.”
— Qur’an 15:9
✨ Jesus, Muhammad, and the Path to Eternal Life
So when Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” he wasn’t calling people to worship himself. He was guiding them to the same path that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ later clarified and sealed.
It was a call to worship God alone, to follow the truth He revealed, and to walk the path that leads to eternal life.
“Indeed, this is My path—perfectly straight. So follow it, and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His way.”
— Qur’an 6:153
🕊️ A Call to Sincere Seekers
The message of the truth is one. It has always been one. If you’re someone who believes in God, who wants to know what’s real, and who longs to live with purpose and peace, then this message is for you too.
The Qur’an doesn’t dismiss Jesus. It honors him. The Qur’an doesn’t erase the Bible. It confirms the truth that remains within it. But it also clarifies what got lost along the way.
“Say: O People of the Book, do not go to extremes in your religion beyond the truth… And do not say about Allah except the truth…”
— Qur’an 4:171
📖 From Message to Mission
Each of us must choose: Will we follow inherited stories that people have changed over time, or will we return to the pure message itself? The truth doesn’t require a celebrity or have to follow fame. It doesn’t wear a human face. It speaks for itself—quietly, firmly, and patiently.
Allah is the Truth.
His message is mercy. Allah’s path is peace. His door is open.
May we all be among those who recognize the truth when it comes—and follow it with sincere hearts.
“So give good news to My servants who listen to what is said and follow the best of it. It is they whom Allah has guided, and it is they who are people of understanding.”
— Qur’an 39:17–18
